While on a voice call using Line 1/SIM, User wants to access their data from Line 2/eSIM for mobile browser use

  • Cannot toggle to use data from Line 2/eSIM while on a voice call on Line 1/SIM
While on a voice call using Line 2/eSIM, User accesses their mobile browser to search for something

Use Case

Positioning

A customer wants to purchase the new iPhone XR, Xs or Xs Max and add 2 lines, a primary line/physical SIM and a second line/eSIM through their Bell Account Rep.
  1. The Bell Account Rep can sell and activate the iPhone XR, Xs or Xs Max with a primary line/physical SIM. 
    • Then, the customer can go into store and activate their second line/eSIM.
    • Once the customer receives the actual device in the mail, they can call their Bell Account Rep and activate the second line/eSIM.
For Business accounts:
  1. The Bell Account Rep can use the in-store pick-up tool and direct the customer to pick-up the device at a Bell store.
A customer wants to activate a primary line/physical SIM on their new iPhone XR, Xs or Xs Max through their Bell Account Rep.
The Bell Account Rep will be able to activate this customer as normal.
A customer already bought and activated their iPhone XR, Xs and Xs Max. Now they want to activate their second line/eSIM through their Bell Account Rep.
The Bell Account Rep will be able to activate this customer as normal.
A customer wants to activate a personal line as their second line/eSIM on their new company provided iPhone.
A customer can go into any Bell store and activate their second line/eSIM with a Consumer BYOD smartphone plan.
A customer wants to activate a second work number/eSIM on their new company provided iPhone.
